The funds they raise help provide opportunities, through horticulture for social and workplace participation, for people with a disability or social disadvantage.
Growing Abilities president Helen Morgan said they open on Thursdays and Fridays and host markets on the third Saturday of every month.
"This is our third ever market," Ms Morgan said.
"We decided to pick the third Saturday because it doesn't conflict with other markets around town and it is also for those who can't come on weekdays."
Growing the plants take a lot of time and money, but the community organisation is fortunate to be supported by local companies.
"Nearly everything we get comes from donations," Ms Morgan said.
"We've been very fortunate that local companies have donated us materials and when they couldn't, they sold it to us at a cheaper price."
The next big event for Growing Abilities is their open day sometime in October.
They are located on 41A Ross Street.
