Around 970 were offered and the majority were weaners from 9-11 months.
Rick Maslin, manager at SELX Operations Pty Ltd, said that it was a "very good quality yarding of predominantly yearling and weaner British breed cattle".
"Good seasonal rainfalls across the southern tablelands districts augured well for restockers to operate along with some feedlot purchasing activity," he said.
"Buyers from Bathurst, Orange, Dubbo, West Wyalong, Young, Cootamundra, Wagga, Albury, Taralga, Crookwell, Goulburn, Moss Vale, Harden, with strong local support."
The sale on Friday, July 31, saw the market sold to a similar high rate as the previous sale with the exception of the few pens of young cow and calf units which sold dearer.
There was a strong buying group as well as a lot of interest from online services.
One of the selling agents, Daniel Croker from Nutrien Ag, felt that the demand was very strong.
"The sale was very good and restockers were most active in terms of purchasing," Mr Croker said.
Light weaner steers made from $800 to $1,000/head, medium weights, 200kg to 280kg received from $910 to $1,360/head and averaged around 480c to 510c/kg for the majority, the SELX market report states.
Heavy weaner steers sold from $1,200 to $1,675/head or 410c to 460c/kg. The better supplied medium weight weaner heifers sold from $870 to $1,230 and heavy weights made from $1,170 to $1,380/head or 400c to 430c/kg on average.
