At 3.25pm on Tuesday, police received numerous calls regarding a black BMW travelling south in the northbound lanes of the Federal Highway at Collector.
Further calls were received stating the vehicle had changed direction and had commenced travelling north in the southbound lanes.
Officers from The Hume Highway Patrol responded and pulled the vehicle over near the Edmondson VC rest area.
Officers spoke with the 34-year-old driver who was subsequently breath tested. Officers will allege the roadside breath test provided a reading in the high-range category.
She was charged with failing to submit to a breath analysis.
She was given conditional bail to appear in Goulburn Local Court next month.
Her licence was suspended.
