According to a post on the school's Facebook Page, a student at Batemans Bay High School has tested positive to COVID-19.

A post at 7.10pm on Monday, August 10 stated: We wish to advise that Batemans Bay High School will be non-operational for one-site learning tomorrow, Tuesday, Aguust 11 ... the department has been advised by NSW Health that a student has tested positive for COVID-19.
"The school will be non-operational tomorrow for the on-site attendance of staff and students."
The post said contact tracing would be undertaken and the school cleaned.
"All staff and students are asked to self-isolate while contact tracing occurs," the post said.
Australian Community Media has approached the school, the Department of Education and the Southern NSW Local Health District for comment.
The post has also been shared on Batemans Bay Public School's social media.

Batemans Bay had a group of eight infections in July, sparking almost 2500 COVID-19 tests.
