The park, which is partly funded by the Veolia Mulwaree Trust, will be placed in the school's playground when construction begins.
The friendship park will also include play equipment such as towers and adventure nets, soft pour snakes and ladders and sound tubes.
There will also be a section consisting of sensory equipment such as bongo drums, free standing chimes and turned drums.
Goulburn South Public School principal Ann Patchett said the park would provide an interesting and low stress setting for the students.
"The friendship park has been designed to provide a stimulating environment for children with additional needs to enable the development of foundation skills," Ms Patchett said.
Veolia Mulwaree Trust representative John Reynolds said the Trust was delighted to support Goulburn South's project proposal and help the School's P and C which had raised a considerable amount of funds to support the project.

"Our board particularly liked the concept of the playground and equipment being available to the wider Goulburn community during weekends and school holidays through the Share our Space initiative," Mr Reynolds said.
"The initiative provides a broad health and well-being benefit for local children and families."
Veolia Mulwaree Trust representatives presented the staff and students with a cheque for $38,709 toward the friendship park last week.
