The weekend festival joins a growing list of events scheduled for 2020 to be cancelled.
Earlier this year, in April, organisers were confident that the sixth annual event would go ahead. However, last week an official cancellation was posted on the festival's Facebook page.
"We were very conscious of the challenges in planning and delivering our popular festival in the face of this major health issue.
"We are looking forward to planning and delivering the next Crookwell Garden Festival on 6-7 November 2021," the message read.

Lucy Lindner from Lindner Quality Socks, and regular attendee, said the festival is one of the town's biggest and best events.
"The garden festival has always brought amazing business to Crookwell," she said.
"I feel for the organisers, they are all volunteers, and I know how hard they work.
"I'm sure it is disappointing for them," she said.
"[Their decision] is completely understandable."
The 2021 Crookwell Garden Festival is scheduled for November 6 and 7.
