The Country Women's Association, Crookwell Evening Branch, will send supplies to support mothers and their children in Papua New Guinea.
The local branch collected more than $200 of supplies including, school supplies, women's and baby's clothing.
Secretary Jeanette Painter said the items will be added to care packages distributed from the CWA of NSW head office.
"As mothers, grandmothers and even great-grandmothers ourselves, CWA members know how important it is to have access to essentials like suitable clothing and for children to have the necessary school supplies," Mrs Painter said.
"Last year, Papua New Guinea was the CWA of NSW country of study, the country and its people are dear to our hearts," Mrs Painter said.
Mrs Painter said, '"Our branch members are delighted to join CWA branches from across NSW in supporting this very worthy cause."
