A Telstra spokesperson said the outage was fixed on August 25.
"We're glad to say that the outage residents experienced these past two weeks has now been resolved, with services restored around 1pm [Tuesday]," they said.
"We understand how frustrating it can be when there is an outage, but the volume of rain in the area these past few weeks contributed to the loss of service and caused a lot of localised flooding in the area, which made access to our mobile site impossible before Monday.
"We want to thank the community for their patience, but restoration work is often complex when it involves severe weather and unique locations that include steep inclines or water crossings, and we have a responsibility to ensure our people are safe when heading out to fix problems."
