Today, I would like to share with you all how my life has changed after I moved from the city to the countryside.
When I was living in Sydney, I had a very rushed life. I was doing two or three jobs to pay my accommodation, transportation, and other expenses. I barely used to have days off.
Before this pandemic I had some kind of motivation to embrace this rushed life thinking, "When I work hard, then I can travel harder", but now we are not only been banned to travel from one country to another, but also from one state to another.

Moreover, we are not been able to see our family members and relatives who are far from us. By this, I got to know the true mystery as well as the value of life.
Deep down I felt like, "Why I should work harder, why should I be far from my family members when life is so uncertain?"
So, I decided even if I cannot see and live with my parents at this time, I can at least cherish my family members who are nearby.
So, I moved to Queanbeyan not so long ago to live with my sister and brother-in-law, and get some country living experiences.
Honestly, I am enjoying living in such a peaceful place, far from hustle and bustle.
I have plenty of time to spend for myself, with my family and to go around. Moreover, I can connect to my family, friends, and relatives in daily basis via video calls or chats more frequently.
I have been watching varieties of movies, series, and documentaries, reading books, and enhancing my cooking skills. Everything is in proximity. We do not have to travel far for grocery shopping and other essential things.
Truly, I agree with the statement, "Queanbeyan is a place for country living with city benefits."
Canberra city is very close to our place where we can experience city life, on the other side are snowy mountains and various hiking ranges are few hours' drive from our place, where we can enjoy beautiful nature and creatures.
As we do not have to experience much traffic in this area we can reach anywhere in a very short drive. Indeed, I have got more time for myself which I was missing when I was in Sydney. In addition, I have got the privilege of working in the countryside, understanding local people and their culture.
Lastly, I would like to share that I was scared of this change. I was reluctant to move to a new place for so long, but I think I have made a good decision to come to Queanbeyan and live a peaceful and more relaxing life than before.
We can gain an enormous amount of experience from changing a place, finding a new place to explore. After all, each place has its own beauty. Believe me, a small change can bring a big difference in your life. Do not fear change, do not fear to find yourself.
