The Upper Lachlan Shire Council is working with the MAP Institute to provide mentoring, and the project was funded by the state government and is worth $2000.
"In the wake of devastating bushfires and the global COVID-19 pandemic, this has been one of the toughest years many small businesses have faced," council's general manager Colleen Worthy said.
"Many have suffered significant losses. Some have pivoted to retain customers online and others have worked to capture new markets and to change their offerings.
"This mentoring will help businesses in the Shire deal with the changing marketplace," Mrs Worthy said.
