The Upper Lachlan Shire Council recently completed upgrades to the pool systems which will improve the water quality to meet current standards.
The council's general manager Colleen Worthy said that the installations would benefit pool visitors and the lifeguards.
"This will make your swimming experience even better than last year," she said.

"Locals and visitors are encouraged to enjoy these upgrades to the Gunning Swimming Pool over summer, with more improvements to follow next season."
The upgrades cost $130,000 and replaced the 60-year-old equipment which had leaking pipes and poor reliability.
Opening hours are between 11am and 6pm, seven days a week. Admission fees are $6 for an adult, $3 for children, and $3 for senior and pensioner concessions.
