All the staff wrote down what they thought kindness meant on a piece of paper.
They were stuck on the walls around to hospital to create a positive vibe.
Here is what some of what the staff had to say:
- Kindness is listening and being mindful of a person's emotional, physical and spiritual needs.
- Kindness is being someone's sunshine when skies are grey.
- Kindness is understanding that other's opinions matter as well.
World Kindness Day highlights the good deeds in communities and focuses on the positive power of kindness.
There was also free cake for all the patients to enjoy
New survey released
From Monday, November 16, all patients being released from the hospital will be encouraged to fill out an electronic survey to help the hospital improve.

Some of the questions asked include whether the patients were given enough information about their treatment and care, how much of a say they had on the decisions made on them and the concerns they had.
The survey takes around five minutes to complete.
