Due to COVID-19, the organisers adopted a different approach to the event this year. Usually, relay teams would head over to Eastgrove Park for the 24-hour event but this year, the teams did it on their own terms from Saturday, October 31 to Sunday, November 1.
The aim of the event this year was to involve people who would be doing things their own way and hence, the event was called as Relay Your Way.
People registered for the event and relayed in small groups with each group making their own challenge.
Mrs Chapman decided to wear a Relay For Life shirt for a month while others hosted a family barbeque, went for walks along the walkway, and did laps in their backyards.
Eagle FM radio hosts MJ Brokenbrough and Dylan Finch also broadcasted a 24-hour live show and received donations on air.
