Police are appealing for public assistance in the investigation of woman assaulted in Goulburn last weekend

Officers said that at about 1am on Saturday, December 19, a 23-year-old woman was walking along Auburn Street, Goulburn. As she approached Citizen Street she was physically assaulted by a man before he left the area.
Goulburn Detectives have commenced an investigation into the incident.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, in his late 40s, with a large build, short/balding brown hair, and beard-stubble. At the time he was wearing a red shirt, faded black denim shorts and brown closed-toes shoes.
The woman only received minor injuries as a result of the incident and is expected to make a full recovery.
