The Lions Club of Goulburn City Christmas car raffle draw saw a lucky local winning the MG ZS Excite car valued at $22,000 on December 29.

President Rosemary Chapman conducted the draw and welcomed the ticket buyers who attended the event at Goulburn Square.
She thanked the members of the club for their efforts in selling the raffle tickets starting in October 2020 and selling them all before Christmas.

"We were unsure whether we would be able to hold the annual raffle due to this year's health conditions," she said.
The raffle is one of the main fundraisers for the club and they have raised funds to the tune of about $40,000 this year.
Mrs Chapman thanked Goulburn Country Motors for supplying the car for display in Auburn Street, Merino Fuels for again donating fuel for a third prize valued at $500 and community for their support.
The winning number for the MG ZS Excite car, valued at $22,000 this year, ticket 5658 held by Nicole Apps.
Second prize of $2,000 Mastercard went to Michael O'Connor ticket no. 5286 and third prize of $500 fuel from Merino Fuels won by ticket number 1543 Tony Elliot.
The next club project would be on 2021 Australia Day.
