Inspector Alison Brennan said at around 4pm yesterday a car collided with a bicycle on Mundy Street, Goulburn.
She said the 40-year-old cyclist was airlifted to Canberra Hospital with serious injuries. The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 27-year-old man, was uninjured.
Police are appealing for witnesses or people with dashcam footage to come forward. Contact Goulburn Police Station on 4824 0799 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
6pm January 21
A car and cyclist have been involved in a an accident on Mundy Street.
The call came in shortly after 4 pm.
Police and two Ambulance NSW crews are currently on site. A 30-year-old male has suffered head injuries.
Mundy Street is closed with diversions in place. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and avoid the area.
