Her work titled 'Passing Time' is a moving image work of the artist who has been working in the fields of photography, installation and video and was the winner of the 2020 Goulburn Art Award.
Her deep love of nature has an impact on her life and art practice.
"Goulburn encouraged me to use the opportunity to explore new ideas and territory with my work," she said.
She has previously worked on a moving image work in a skyscraper in Sydney with the help of a team of professionals. However, the lockdown during the pandemic gave her a new perspective.
"During lockdown, I decided to create something on my own without the help of the extended crew and focused on quiet observations of nature," she said.
"I live on a six-acre property in Camberwarra with my family. After the lockdown was implemented, my family and I centered our life here. As an artistic pursuit, I would observe the slow constancy of nature. Had it not been for the lockdown, I would not have been able to see the things I did.
"Watching nature unfold brought me in connection with seasons and a sense of slower pace than what I would ordinarily be filling my life with."
Her work has been held in a number of public and private collections including the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra, Parliament House Art Collection in Canberra, Art Gallery of South Australia and Mordant Family Collection Australia.
She is also the winner of 2019 Moran Contemporary Photographic prize, 2018 Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography prize, 2018 Meroogal Women's art prize, high commendation in 2013 Moran Contemporary photographic prize to name a few.
Her work is being displayed at the Goulburn Regional Art Gallery from 9am-5pm on Monday-Friday and 12-4pm on Saturday.
