An initiative by the Goulburn Chamber of Commerce, the expo will be held on October 29-30 and will have a Field Day.
Darrell Weekes, president of Goulburn Chamber of Commerce said the expo is one of the chamber's major projects for the year.
"We have not held a business expo in Goulburn for a long time and local businesses have not had an opportunity like this to showcase their products and services in such a setting," he said.
Mr Weekes further said that they are looking to further the reach of Goulburn to the regional community to showcase the potential of Goulburn and will run a number of campaigns in regards to that.
"The aim behind holding the expo this year is to show that Goulburn is a good hub for businesses. There are a few manufacturing businesses here and we want to show what we have here," he said.
"It is about getting in front of the locals, most of whom are unaware of what the businesses are doing. The expo will promote local businesses in an environment where they can show what they do."
Another important part of the expo will be to project businesses to potential employees. The organisers will invite the school leavers to come along and have a look at what employment opportunities are out there and what employers are offering.
