A man will face court today charged following the seizure of 127 kilograms of cannabis at a Strike Force Raptor operation.

As part of ongoing operations to disrupt and dismantle drug trafficking in NSW, Strike Force Raptor with assistance from Traffic and Highway Patrol Command, conducted an inspection on a truck at the heavy vehicle weigh station at Marulan about 5pm on Tuesday February 23, 2021.
During a search of the vehicle officers allegedly located eight boxes containing a total of 127 kilograms of cannabis in vacuum sealed bags with a street value of over $3 million.
Three phones were also seized during the search.
The driver, a 25-year-old man from Western Sydney, was arrested and taken to Goulburn Police Station,
A subsequent search warrant was executed at a home in Merrylands where a gel blaster, steroids and cash were seized for forensic examination.
The man was charged with supply prohibited drug (large commercial quantity), possess unauthorised pistol, possess prohibited plant and deal with property proceeds of crime.
The 25-year-old is an Indian national and investigators will work with the Department of Home Affairs regarding his visa status.
He was bail refused to appear at Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday February 24, 2021.
