A man has been charged over an armed robbery at a hotel in Goulburn last week.

About 3.20pm on Wednesday, February 24, a man entered the foyer of a hotel on Sloane Street, Goulburn.
It's alleged the man, armed with a knife, demanded a male employee get on the ground, before taking cash and leaving via the rear carpark.
Police were notified and officers from The Hume Police District commenced inquiries.
The employee was not physically harmed as a result of the incident.
Following inquiries, about 4pm, police attended a home on Goldsmith Street, Goulburn, and arrested a 42-year-old man.
He was taken to Goulburn Police Station and charged with robbery armed with offensive weapon.
The Goulburn man was refused bail and appeared in Goulburn Local Court on Thursday, February 25 where he was formally refused bail to appear in the same court on Wednesday, March 10.
