Volunteer Penny Steel encourages people to come forward and share what feels important to them.
"We would like everyone to participate in this and share their thoughts with us on what they want for a better community, what they would like to keep in Goulburn area and would be beneficial for Hume," she said.
"Having a conversation with people is always great as they have different ideas and views about how things should work in the community and how we can make things better.
"We will keep the identity of those sharing their views anonymous and encourage everyone to come and have a chat so that we can compile that information and then share it with the representatives in the government."
Penny further said that after being isolated due to Covid restrictions, we can come together and share our ideas specially with those who represent us at the government level.
The group will be conducting a survey where people can go and put a sticker on the issue that concerns them or add one if it's not already present.
A group of residents in Hume electorate have come together to form Voices of Hume and have been holding 'kitchen table conversations' with residents of five Local Government Areas which are Goulburn Mulwaree, Upper Lachlan, Wingecarribee, Wollondilly and Camden.
The discussion is held usually over a 90-minute long session and residents are asked questions on what they like about where they live, what makes a strong community, what would they like to see preserved or changed in their area and what makes good political leadership.
The feedback of hundreds of people will be consolidated into a report which will be compiled and released by May this year.
