Last Man Standing' is a one hour performance by soloist Sarah Nielsen - an Australian flautist and co-founder of the Australian Wind Symphony. Sarah brings us a number of pieces that respond to the social effects of isolation and solitude, including the eponymous central piece 'Last Man Standing' by British composer Kit Turnbull. Performing amongst works in The Window, curated by local photographer Stephen Hartup, it is sure to be a provoking and engaging soundscape, with works that echo themes of loss, absence, emptiness and unease.
