
Yass High School went into lockdown this morning as a precaution.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said the school went into lockdown when a former student, who was on the premises, was "verbally abusive" towards students.

She said police received a call shortly after 9am and the school was voluntarily placed into lockdown.
"No one was injured or arrested, and the former student has been removed," she said.
The lockdown has now been lifted.
