"Our dedicated committee will be hosting the barbecue, providing delicious bacon and egg sandwiches and sausage sandwiches, along with a variety of drinks," publicity officer Karon Jones said.
"There will also be a plant stall that has a special connection to our Goulburn Hospital. During the course of building the new hospital, permission was given for the removal of three remaining succulent plants that were situated near the walkway into the main entrance.
"These plants have been propagated and grown in individual pots, therefore giving the opportunity for people to purchase a memento of the current hospital."
Funds raised from the day will go toward the purchase of an upgraded entertainment system for the new $150 million facility. It will provide internal patient ordering and education services.
The committee has raised thousands of dollars for the hospital over the many years of its existence. Its efforts are aimed at supporting patient care and comfort.
Saturday's markets will be held in Montague Street from 8.30am to 1.30pm. They are held on the second Saturday of each month and typically draw more than 50 stallholders.
