A man was found deceased in his vehicle in Auburn Street on Sunday morning.
Police said a passerby noticed the man in the car's driver seat in front of the Goulburn Post Office at about 10.20pm. At the time he had one leg out of his vehicle, as though about to alight, but was unresponsive.
The passerby flagged down a passing ambulance, which came to assist. An off-duty NSW Fire and Rescue Service member also helped.
Sergeant Jeff Morgan said it appeared as though the 71-year-old ACT man had a medical episode. Police are making further inquiries with his doctors.
