On Sunday curiosity led me into the world of psychics, mediums and healers - where conventional thinking ends and an open mind was a necessity.
The Living Wellness and Psychic Expo was held at the Goulburn Worker's Club on May 2. The event drew a crowd of both stout believers and people who wanted to see what the fuss was about.
To get a taste of why so many people were drawn to this world I booked a session with psychic medium Rebs Baijent. She promised to draw my aura and connect me with spirit guides and deceased loved ones to offer clarity and insight into my life path.
Forty minutes later I left with a head full of advice and a colourful chalk rendition of my aura. While I doubt the existence of the spirit world, Rebs offered eerie insight into my life and sound advice.
Event organiser Danielle Mickans thanked the community for their support of the event.
She said the day was "well and truly successful".
The Living Wellness and Psychic Expo will return on October 17.
