Hamzy, 42, currently in custody at Goulburn Supermax, appeared at Goulburn Local Court via audio visual link on May 19.
Police charged him in April with perverting the court of justice and knowingly/recklessly directing a criminal group to assist crime.
The charges relate to the murder of Brayden Dillon, who was shot in his bed in South West Sydney on Good Friday, 2017.
Solicitor Zali Burrows said her client intended to plead not guilty.
Hamzy will reappear in Goulburn Local Court on June 22.
