Lily Curry, 11, was part of the u13 Girls Country camp in Narrabeen earlier this month while Chloe McGregor, 13, will take part in hers from Monday to Wednesday, May 24 to 26.
The camp aims to expose selected athletes to the NSW/Australian Style of Play and concepts of play.
It also provides educational opportunities for athletes in the field of nutrition, injury prevention and effective rehabilitation exercises.
General manager of coaching and development Brett Coxsedge said the camp "plays an important role in the development pathway for both country and metro athletes".
Both parents were extremely proud of their child's achievement.
It's been a great couple of months for Lily who was also recently chosen in the Primary Schools Sports Association South Coast regional team.
Chloe, whose idol is Australian netballer Liz Cambage who plays for her favourite team the Los Vegas Aces, played the sport since she was four-years-old.
Her father Wayne McGregor said the selection was well deserved.
"She is really committed and takes the sport really seriously," McGregor said.
Lily's mother Estelle Roberts said it was good to see not only her child, but other kids playing sport and getting out of the house.
"In this day and age, you have children who are always on social media," Roberts said.
"It's a great thing for kids to be doing because they're meeting others and learning teamwork."
Both girls hope to be professional basketballers when they finish their schooling.
