Police have appealed for information after a break-in and fire at a school in Yass.

At about 10.45pm on May 27 emergency services were called to a high school on Grampian Street after a fire alarm was activated.

NSW Fire and Rescue attended and extinguished the blaze. the fire was contained within the offices of the administration building. No structural damage has been identified.
Hume Police District officers attended and commenced an investigation, discovering the administration office building had also been vandalised.
Forensic officers attended and examined the scene on May 28.
As investigations continue, police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward and call Yass Police on 6226 9399 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
