Hungry customers were in for a shock today when they pulled up at Goulburn South McDonalds.
The fast-food establishment remains closed after a lightning strike at 10pm last night fried electronics.
Franchisee Graham Marcolin expected business to be back up and running tonight, or tomorrow morning at the latest.
He said a team of tradies and other contractors were busy replacing all electronics at the store. This included computers, register systems, timing and heat set systems and more.
Mr Marcolin said staff last night were "shocked by the intensity of the noise".
"The lightning went through virtually every piece of electrical wiring we have in the ground."
"But, everybody is safe and sound which is the main thing."
