Wollondilly Public School students took part in the Charter Hall NAIDOC Week story book illustration competition which required them to show off their creative sides.
Every class was given a page out of the book Dancing For Country written by Warrawu and had to draw a picture based on the text.
The book set in northern Australia is about Nana Ruby whose shadow, her grandson Claude, dancing from city to city in an attempt to save their land from drought and fires.

All the artworks were shown on the walls of the school's corridor for parents to enjoy on Thursday, June 24 and they were all amazed with the quality of artworks.
Organiser Belinda Baxter said the top six entries would become part of the public display in Goulburn Square during NAIDOC Week from June 4 to 11.
"The public votes for the most popular page," Ms Baxter said.
The top six entries from Wollondilly Public School were Archie Baker, Aleisha Ings, Zara Ridley, Jessica Martin, Caitlyn Dunn and Oscar Townsend.
Other primary schools are also taking part in the competition.
