Ambulance crews were called to the Oallen Ford Road property, some 7km south of Bungonia at 2pm, a spokesman said.
A man, believed to be in his 50s, was reported to have fractured his right femur after the quad bike he was riding rolled on top of him. He had been travelling at about 30km/h at the time.
The rough terrain posed some challenges and RFS crews, including Bungonia brigade, were called to assist.
Eventually the man was transferred using a spinal board on the back of a 4WD ute to a waiting ambulance. Emergency personnel had earlier reached him by foot and administered pain relief, the ambulance spokesman said.
The male was transported by road ambulance in a stable condition to Canberra Hospital.
