Upgrades were completed to the Peden Pavilion, livestock yards and the Grace-Millsom Function Centre recently thanks to the government's Showgrounds Stimulus Funding Program.
One of the biggest local events of the year, the Goulburn Show, use the venue and their president Jacki Waugh said it was fantastic to see what had been done.

"Any improvement to the showground will make a big difference to everyone," Ms Waugh said.
"They completely degutted the toilets at the Peden Pavilion and refurbished them.
"The toilets were old and had been there for 50 years or so.
"It was horrible to use as it was always leaking or breaking.
"They put new lighting in there as well."
A 15MW solar system was put on the Grace-Millsom Function Centre to help with the reduction for the whole of the showground, while an all weather cover was built over the livestock yards.
"With the cattle cover, it will be fantastic," Ms Waugh said.
"When it was used as an evacuation centre during the bushfires, a lot of people wouldn't use the yards as it was too hot for them.
"Now, it will give them protection for the animals."
Goulburn Mulwaree Council received over $336,000 of funding and their mayor Bob Kirk said it came at a very good time.
"This timely funding from the government has enabled us to make some real improvements that otherwise would simply not have happened," Cr Kirk said.
"Upgrades will make life much easier for the Goulburn Show Society, but also improve the use of the space for emergencies when we need to have livestock as an example of other benefits.
"The Goulburn Recreation Area is utilised by over a dozen different community groups, and it has been positive to be able to make a number of improvements out there this financial year."
Other recent improvements to the recreational area include the installation of the new retractable basketball hoops and the resealing of the Gate three car park next to the Veolia Area.
Five mobile tiered seating units were also bought for use at Veolia Arena.
