The Christmas break will start on the week of December 13, with play to resume on the week of January 31. This includes the junior divisions, which will play out a full season this summer, unlike last year in which they concluded at the Christmas break.
The following divisions will compete in this year's junior competitions:
- U8 - Born 2014-2015 (Mixed)
- U10 - Born 2012 - 2013 (Boys and Girls)
- U12 - Born 2010-2011 (Boys and Girls)
- U14 - Born 2008-2009 (Boys and Girls)
- U16 - Born 2006-2007 (Boys and Girls)
Finals for all competitions will begin on March 7 and finish by the week of March 21.
Association president, Kevin Kara, confirmed that the competition would be subject to the same COVID-19 health precautions as last year.
He added that the association is also looking to make some new additions to the roster, which includes the likes of a camp to be run during the school holidays.
"We're going to have one on one week, and another on the second week," Kara said.
"We're going to try and get as many kids as we can to attend. Obviously, it's all outdoors so COVID restrictions shouldn't be an issue.
"If we can get a couple of hundred kids, that'd be great, because we've got enough field space at Carr Confoy to separate them."
Registrations for the 2021/22 touch season are expected to open early next month. More information about the upcoming touch season and registrations can be found here.
