Well, you have a chance to be heard.
Goulburn Mulwaree Council started an initiative called 'Towards 2042' which aims to positively shape the future of the community by listening to the residents.
Council hosted a couple of face to face consultations recently, including one at the Goulburn Community Centre on Friday, July 30.
Some of the questions asked by council included:
- What makes your community a great place to live in?
- What have you seen in other areas that you think would work well in your community?
- What do you think are the main challenges facing your community?
- What would you like to see in town over the next 10 years?
One person felt Goulburn was a great town with great people while another wanted to see an increase in new housing population.
Some of the other things locals wanted to see was a larger stadium for football, the Wakefield Park upgrade as it was important for Goulburn businesses and an extension of the Goulburn Wetlands project.
There were also consultations in Marulan and Tarago.

In Marulan, people wanted to see the completion of the water and sewer upgrade, more population growth and the installation of street lights.
They were also strongly against the Jerrara Power project.
In Tarago, there were concerns about the Veolia Development out there while residents also wanted local roads to be fixed and wanted an upgrade of community infrastructure.
If you didn't attend the consultations, you can still have your say by completing the 'Towards 2042' survey which can be accessed here.
You have about a week to complete the survey.
