Perhaps you saw your yard blanketed in snow and ran to the fireplace, or grabbed some extra winter layers and went out and enjoyed it.
Today we would be waving goodbye to the biting winter, and the temperatures below zero.
But how cold did it actually get in the Southern Highlands and Tablelands?
The Bureau of Meteorology recorded at the Moss Vale Weather Station that July 7 was the coldest day in the Highlands with a bitter -4.7°C.
The region also hit temperatures below zero in August and June.

The Highlands did however have an early experience of spring with a recorded temperature of 21.8°C on August 22 and 23.
The Southern Tablelands also had freezing days below zero in June, July and August.
The Goulburn TAFE Weather Station recorded the lowest temperature of -5.6°C three times in August.
A bitter -1.6°C was also recorded on the first of June, and a freezing -3.8°C was also experienced by Tablelanders on July 7.
The Tablelands did however experience an early taste of spring last week on August 23 with a welcoming temperature of 21.4°C.
