The Tully Park Annual General Meeting has been postponed to September 12 at 1pm at this stage.
Sunday Competition
Brandon Courts had 40 points on Sunday to take the top spot for the stableford event with Ken Wray taking second on a countback for 37 points over Russ Schmitt.
Roly Wong makes his first appearance in the rundown for his 36 with Ray Turner, Tony Clewett and Ryan Wilson all on 35 and Angus Regterschot and Ian Peterson both on 33 after a five-card countback. Ron Nunn was nearest the pin on the Goulburn Soldiers Club hole and Mitch Cook won the drive and pitch on the D.One Accounting hole.
Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 Hole
45 starters played in the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 Hole Competition last week, with Jack Murdoch taking top honours on 29 points.
Ron Nunn was next best on 27 with Russell Lieschke, Trent Cooper, Mick Regterschot and Tom James all not far behind on 25. With 24 points were Elsey Slater, Tony Clewett and Michael Brown and on 23 were Jon Gegg and Di Schmitt.
The rundown finished on 22 with a seven-card countback going in favour of Eddie Hawkins, Jane Kilmister and Brian Larkin.
The annual Kevin Allen Consistency Comp commences Friday September 10 and runs for six weeks. The best round for a player each week in the Goulburn Soldiers Club 12 Hole Competition is included and the best four of these over the six weeks count towards the prize vouchers of $100 (with thanks to Val Allen), $60 and $30.
Ladies
Heather Buchanan hit her stride last week to return 38 points in the Ladies stableford event and take division one. Jane Kilmister scored 34 for a division two win. In the rundown were Georgina Cook 37, Di Schmitt 34 and Beryl Howe 32.
Slater Drafting Par 3
The September Par 3 at Tully is on this Saturday with tee off from 7.30am to 11am. All new and regular golfers are welcome to play with a cost of only $7 per player.
Notices: September 12 Par event. Championships are Oct 23/24 and 30/31 and to qualify for the overall titles you need at least 10 handicapped rounds over the 12 months to Oct 23.
