This morning NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro announced two positive COVID-19 cases in the Goulburn region. He said both cases were under investigation, however, it was understood one of the cases was currently isolating in Western NSW where they work.

Contact tracing is underway with more information to come.
In addition two cases have been confirmed in Queanbeyan, both believed to be linked to the ACT, and another case in Googong which is a close contact of a confirmed case.
A further case in Cooma has been confirmed with one new case in Batemans Bay. Both of these cases are under investigation.

A total of 1281 cases were recorded in the previous 24 hours to 8pm last night.
NSW Health has been notified of the deaths of five people who had COVID-19 including a man in his 60s from the Southern Highlands who died at home.
There have been 131 COVID-19 related deaths in NSW since June 16, and 187 in total since the start of the pandemic.
There are currently 1,071 COVID-19 cases admitted to hospital, with 177 people in intensive care, 67 of whom require ventilation.
It remains vital that anyone who has any symptoms or is a close or casual contact of a person with COVID-19, isolates and is tested immediately. When testing clinics are busy, please ensure you stay in line, identify yourself to staff and tell them that you have symptoms or are a contact of a case.

- Goulburn Base Hospital 130 Goldsmith Street, Goulburn Entry through the 'old' main entrance. 9am - 3pm Monday - Sunday.
- Goulburn Capital Pathology drive-through, former council depot, 2 Bourke Street, Goulburn. Enter via Bourke Street, south bound only 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday 8am - 12pm Saturday. Closed Sunday.
- Goulburn Laverty drive-through Seiffert Oval, Faithfull Street, Goulburn. 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday 8am - 12pm Saturday.
- A 'walk-in' COVID-19 vaccination clinic today and tomorrow from 9am-4pm. This is being run by Southern NSW Local Health District in the NSW Government Offices Building in Bourke Street (next door to the new Ambulance Station and across the road from St John's).
