COVID-19 restrictions to stay in place in parts of the Southern Tablelands
Lockdown restrictions across parts of regional NSW are set to ease on 12.01am Saturday, September 11, however, the Southern Highlands and parts of the Southern Tablelands will remain locked down. Wingecarribee Shire Council, Goulburn Mulwaree Council, Queanbeyan-Palerang will remain in lockdown. Yass Valley Council and Upper Lachlan Shire Council will have restrictions lifted on September 11.

Goulburn councillors defer decision for Ben Bullen Place proposal
After a lengthy debate Goulburn Mulwaree councillors opted to defer the determination of a controversial Goulburn development. The Development Application (DA) for six attached townhouses at 10 Ben Bullen Place in Goulburn was deferred pending discussions about DCP setback requirements, traffic movements, visitor parking, streetscape and softening the architectural impact on the neighbourhood.
