The delay was caused by the extension of the COVID-19 lockdown by the ACT government until October 15.

The announcement was made by Raiders junior representative high performance manager Dean Souter on September 15.
"We will monitor all Local Government Health advice and continue to observe all COVID-19 related directions," Souter said.
"Given the duration of the current lockdown and the uncertainty of when sport might resume we have put the trials on hold. We will provide updates as restrictions ease."
The Goulburn Stockmen regularly have strong presences in the Raiders' age group squads, which participate in competitions such as the Harold Matthews, Tarsha Gale and SG Ball Cups.
The postponement of the trials came just one day after NSWRL called off the remainder of all of its regional competitions.
"The NSWRL has been forced to make the difficult decision to cancel all of the remaining regional NSW competitions due to the latest Public Health Orders," the NSWRL said in a statement.
"While the NSW Government has recently announced easing to some restrictions in various areas of NSW, the NSWRL has been advised that the Public Health Orders do not allow for organised or competitive community sport to recommence.
"The present ambiguity relating to vaccination targets and related requirements for Community Sport was another key factor considered by NSWRL before confirming the cancellation."
