Bradfordville Pharmacy is currently the only pharmacy in Goulburn to offer the vaccine. Other pharmacies in the region are expected to receive Moderna in early October.

Bradfordville Pharmacy owner Sean Feely welcomed the arrival but said they couldn't "handle more [Moderna] vaccinations" and had opened up evening clinics to administer supplies.
He told the Goulburn Post that when the Moderna vials came out of deep freeze they needed to be used within 30 days. Once opened, a vial - which contains 10 doses - must be used within six hours.
He said this made logistics difficult with each vaccination carefully planned in advance. For the pharmacy the difficulty of juggling everyday business and the Moderna roll out was expected to be a challenge.
"You can't just have people walking in," Mr Feely said.
At the time of publication 120 doses out of 200 were booked at the Bradfordville Pharmacy with no appointments available until next Thursday. Supplies were expected to be exhausted in the next few days.
He said next month's arrival of Moderna was already bookmarked as second doses.
"Our phone has been ringing off the hook," Mr Feely said.
However, he said the pharmacy was able to deliver as much AstraZenica as needed.
In comparison Astrazenica lasts six months in refrigeration, with a 48 hour shelf life once opened.
For the pharmacist AstraZenica hesitancy was a result of a "totally misplaced perception of risk".
"AstraZenica is just as good as the other vaccines," he said.
"It's very frustrating that people are getting mixed messages.
"You need to get vaccinated now."
A Department of Health spokesperson said that as of September 19 a total of 31,228 vaccines had been administered to residents in the Goulburn Mulwaree Local Government Area.
They estimated 32,320 doses of COVID-19 vaccines had been delivered to primary care sites in the region. This was made up of 500 doses of Spikevax (Moderna), 6,960 doses of Pfizer and 24,800 doses of Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca).
The spokesperson said these numbers were estimates as some postcodes cut across multiple LGAs.
Moderna vaccinations are currently available at:
- Pharmasave Bargo Discount Pharmacy
- Bundanoon Pharmacy
- Bradfordville Pharmacy
- Marulan Pharmacy
More pharmacies in Goulburn will be offering Moderna at a later date.
Moderna is currently recommended for people between 12 and 59 years old.
