Several new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Southern NSW overnight, with three new cases in the Southern Highlands, four cases in the Southern NSW local health district and 70 new cases in the Illawarra Shoalhaven local health district.

Out of the 70 new cases in the ISLHD, 11 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Shoalhaven local government area, two are linked to known cases and nine are under investigation.
According to the NSW Health website, there are 78 active cases in the Shoalhaven LGA, 44 of which have no known source.
Four new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Southern NSW local health district. All four cases are in Goulburn, two are linked to known cases and two are under investigation.
This brings the total cases in Southern NSW local health district to 98 since the start of the current outbreak in June.
SNSWLHD is urging the Eden community to get tested with even the mildest of COVID-19 symptoms following the detection of fragments of the virus in the local sewage system in the last 48 hours.
There are no confirmed COVID-19 cases in Eden. SNSWLHD is concerned that the presence of these fragments could signal undetected cases in the community.
Three new cases were recorded in the Southern Highlands, no information is currently known.
According to the NSW Health website, there are now 33 active cases of COIVD-19 in the Wingecarribee LGA, 28 of which have an unknown source.
The total number of cases in the Wingecarribee LGA is 39 since the current outbreak began in June.
One new venue of concern in Mittagong was added to the COVID-19 exposure site.
Anyone who visited Hayters Timber and Paving at 15 Cavendish Street Mittagong on Saturday, September 18 and Sunday, September 19 at any point during the day is required to get tested immediately and self isolate until a negative test is returned.
Across NSW, 1007 cases of COVID-19 were recorded, and more than 108,000 people were tested for the virus in the 24 hours up to September 24, 8 pm.
Residents should be alert for any symptoms that could signal COVID-19 including headache, nausea, sore throat, runny nose, cough, loss of smell or taste, or fever.
If symptoms appear, people must isolate and get tested immediately, and remain isolated until a negative result is received.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19:
- If you are unwell, get tested and isolate right away - don't delay.
- Wash your hands regularly and take hand sanitiser with you when you go out.
- Keep your distance and leave 1.5 metres between yourself and others.
- Wear a mask at all times when outside your home, except when exercising.
