'Remarkable talent' on show as Highland FM celebrates local artists
Staff at Highland FM have made it their mission to champion local artists and musicians from the Tablelands and Highlands, that have struggled throughout the pandemic. The station launched their Artist of the Month initiative for their 100% Home-Grown Show, which airs every Saturday between 5pm and 7pm. Sixteen-year-old Goulburnite Isy Cappo was nominated this month.

Brooke Druett was honoured this week for her hard work and dedication in this year's Family Day Care Australia Excellence in Family Day Care Awards. This is the second time the early childhood educator and care professional was recognised in the awards.
TAFE Digital helps a 17-year-old turn her passion into a career
HSC student Natasha Southwell is one step closer to her dream career as a vet nurse thanks to a TAFE Digital course. The student enrolled in a Certificate II in Animal Studies last year. The course has given Miss Southwell the chance to learn remotely and gain hands-on experience while she completes her final year of secondary school.
Cricket NSW throws its support behind changes to language
The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) has made the move towards inclusion with new cricket terminology for the upcoming season. The MCC revealed this week that 'batsman' and 'batsmen' will be changed to 'batter' and 'batters'.
