One person who was ecstatic to be up and running again was Enchante Ceremonies owner Melissa Jones.
The celebrant recently started her business, but had unfortunately come to a complete halt shortly afterwards due to lockdown.
"I only started the business up in April," Ms Jones said.
"In the beginning, I was getting quite a few inquiries, but then everything just came to a screaming halt.
"The couple that I already had had to unfortunately postpone till next year."
Ms Jones decided to venture into the industry because she was really interested in it.
"I just like to be a part of weddings and ceremonies for other people," she said.
"We do naming ceremonies, pet remembrance ceremonies, funerals and pretty much any ceremonial needs people have.
"It's really nice to be part of that for people and to help them celebrate their life events."
Although it's been an unorthodox start to her business journey, Ms Jones has still been able to make some progress.
"During that time, I've been able to set up my home office which is completed now, so I'm keen to get people back in," she said.
She is now open and will be able to fit three fully vaccinated people into her office space. QR codes will also need to be utilised.
For those who aren't fully immunised yet, she will offer Zoom sessions.
