With only one more sleep to go, most business owners are preparing to open back up.
Owners of businesses like the Goulburn Martial Arts Academy, Creative Space Goulburn, Goulburn Western Wear and Wendy's Milk Bar are all elated to be back.
Craig Harmer, whose martial arts academy was closed for almost 10 weeks, said the thing he missed the most during lockdown was being around people.
"A lot of my friends and family are around the academy, so you miss those people and the human interaction," Mr Harmer said.
"We're going to hit the ground running tomorrow, so hopefully we can get cracking and we won't go into lockdown again."
Just like every other business in the state, Mr Harmer will have to enforce a few COVID restrictions.
"We can have 20 per class, but we're lucky to have two spaces, so we could have 40 if needed," he said.
"Those aged 16 or over have to be fully vaccinated, QR codes must be used and sanitiser will be available too.
"There's a percentage of the crew that are yet to have their second jab, so they'll have to wait.
Creative Space Goulburn has been running online sessions during lockdown, but owner Barbara Nell said opening up was a huge relief, not only for herself, but the participants.
"While it's a huge relief to open again, it's also very exciting because the people I'm starting with will definitely cherish having the social interactions again.
"We're going to really enjoy connecting socially in our art class."
Goulburn Western Wear co-owner Leanne Gow, who has been struggling during lockdown, said "freedom day" couldn't have come at a better time for her business.
"We're super excited because we've just moved into town from Sydney Road," Ms Gow said.
"We're now located near a lot of food places just across from Target, so hopefully with more foot traffic, we'll be able to revive our business."
"It's been hard just having one income in the past few months.
"We weren't really established as an online business yet, so that made it really hard for us to get some sales."
To start off with a bang, all sales will be 20 per cent off
The general COVID restrictions will apply and only 12 people will be allowed in the shop at any given time.
Although Wendy's Milk Bar has been luckier than most other businesses, owner Lauren Corcoran said it was good to see others opening up.
"We've luckily managed to remain open during the pandemic, albeit under reduced hours," Ms Corcoran said.
"However, it has been really sad looking out into the mall, seeing shops closed and seeing nobody around as it's something we never thought we'd experience.
She said she couldn't wait to see all the businesses and shoppers feel joy and happiness.
"It's been a very hard time for the whole community," she said.
"It will be great to feel some kind of normality again and see some friendly faces again.
"We're very excited to see what tomorrow will bring."
