Those were the first words that came out of Lambert Karate Dojo owner David Lambert's mouth the day after he found out his business had won the people's choice awards for the second year in a row.
They are now proving to be the most popular business in town after the feat was announced at the Goulburn Business Awards night on Saturday, October 9.
Mr Lambert said the achievement was a fantastic pick-me-up.
"To get that kind of recognition, especially from our customers when we haven't seen each other face to face for a while, is unbelievable," Mr Lambert said.
"It's fantastic to get the tick from the community when you've got other businesses just as worthy.
"Throughout the lockdown period, we had to work longer and harder for less money, so it shows our hard work really paid off."
Business Goulburn president Darrell Weekes, who hosted the awards night, revealed the martial arts business won by a big margin.
"That came as a really big surprise to us," Mr Lambert said.
"It means a lot to us as we do our business because we love it.
"I've never been interested in huge accolades and that sort of stuff.
"I've been more interested in taking each day as it comes and making sure we do a quality job."
To go with their achievement Lambert Karate Dojo received a $1500 advertising package from Radio Goulburn which will help them promote their upcoming change of location.
Lambert Karate Dojo also took out Goulburn's favourite health, fitness and wellbeing category.
They were one of 16 businesses to take home an award on the night and the only business to win multiple ones.
