Several new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded across Southern NSW as of October 10, 8 pm as the state exits lockdown after 100 days.

The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) recorded 38 positive cases of COVID-19 up until October 10, 8 pm.
Of those 38 cases, 10 were from the Shoalhaven LGA. One case is linked to a known cases. Nine cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the 2541 postcode and one case was recorded in the 2540 postcode.
There have now been 2101 local cases of COVID-19 in the ISLHD since the start of the current outbreak in June.
The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) recorded six cases of COVID-19 up until October 10, 8 pm.
One new case was recorded in Queanbeyan and is under investigation.
One new case was recorded in Goulburn and is under investigation.
One new case was recorded in the Eurobodalla region. The case is in Batemans Bay and is under investigation.
The remainder of the cases were recorded in the Snowy Monaro region and the Bega Valley region.
This brings the total cases in SNSWLHD to 379 since the start of the current outbreak in June.
In the Southern Highlands, no new cases have been recorded on the NSW Health website.
South Western Sydney Local Health District were contacted for comment.
It was previously reported that there were zero new cases of COVID-19 in the Southern Highlands over the weekend and on Friday October 8.
New data from the NSW Health website shows that one new case was recorded on Saturday October 9 and three new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the Southern Highlands on Friday October 8.
Data for Sunday October 10 is not currently available on the NSW Health website.
Across NSW, 496 cases of COVID-19 were recorded, and more than 83,00 people were tested for the virus in the 24 hours up to October 10, 8 pm.
The community is reminded to remain vigilant for symptoms and get tested if any appear, no matter how mild. Symptoms include cold or flu-like symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough or shortness of breath. People with mild symptoms, such as fatigue, new muscle aches or pains, a change in taste or smell or a new runny nose, should also arrange testing as quickly as possible.
High rates of testing are critical to detecting transmission and preventing further spread of COVID-19 in the community.
