The new order allows residents to enter the ACT for work, to receive medical care, or to accompany someone receiving treatment, without completing a declaration or following stay-at-home rules upon return to NSW.

A NSW Health spokesperson said everyone else who entered NSW after being in the ACT would need to complete a declaration and follow stay-at-home rules for 14 days.
Previously, an Interstate Travellers Concerns Notice required people who entered the ACT for essential work or medical reasons to stay at home despite their vaccination status.
Goulburn MP Wendy Tuckerman announced the new outcome on Facebook this morning. She said the exemption was "great news for any NSW resident going to Canberra for medical or work - you no longer need to follow stay-at-home rules on your return".
A NSW Health spokesperson urged "people throughout NSW to continue to come forward for testing at the first sign of even mild symptoms. To find your nearest clinic visit COVID-19 clinics or contact your GP".
"High vaccination rates are also essential to reduce the risk of transmission and protect the health and safety of the community."
