Southern NSW Local Health District has hosted several mobile clinics this year to help protect the regional and rural communities of south-east NSW against COVID-19.
Vaccination is the best way to protect ourselves, our loved ones and our communities.
COVID-19 is a serious illness, and you can't predict how it will affect you.
The risk of serious illness and death increases with age.
However, COVID-19 isn't just affecting the elderly - many young people are becoming very sick.
Two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine provides approximately 90 per cent protection against hospitalisation and death from COVID-19, as well as significantly reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19 to people around you.
For people in Yass and surrounding towns, the mobile clinic will be open from 9am to 4pm.
COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective and free, and you don't need a Medicare card.
SNSWLHD's vaccination staff will be available at the clinic to assist with recording vaccinations for people without Medicare, and they will also be able to assist with any enquiries about COVID-19 vaccines.
