There's a setback for those looking forward to the Goulburn Car and Motorcycle Show.

Andrew Doughty, one of the organisers, said the event scheduled for Saturday, November 27 was delayed due to the weather.

"The ground at the Goulburn Recreation Area is too wet and it isn't viable to run it," Mr Doughty said.

"We will now host it in late January or early February of next year."

After being cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Goulburn Car and Motorcycle Show is set to return with their sixth annual show, and it will be bigger and better than ever.

Taking place on Saturday, November 27 at the Goulburn Recreation Area, car enthusiasts are in for a real treat.

Andrew Doughty, who is part of the group of local car enthusiasts organising the show, said he was expecting a fantastic turn out.

"So far, the response from car clubs has been very encouraging", Mr Doughty said.

'At our last show in 2019, 270 cars and 70 motorcycles were entered, raising a significant amount of money for Goulburn's Crescent School.

"Being the first major car show in the region post-lockdown, we are hoping to see over 400 entrants.

"Spectators will be treated to a number of significant historic racing cars, some noteworthy entrants from the muscle car era and a range of trade stands.

"Whether you're entering your pride and joy or coming along to view the array of spectacular vehicles, it's sure to be a great day out."

Vehicles entered into each category will be judged by a people's choice vote.

There will be 33 trophies on offer for cars and motorcycles and all entrants will have the chance to win one of three $500 prizes.

This year, all funds raised from the show will be distributed to the Goulburn PCYC Rise Up Programs for local youth.

Show entries are from 8am to 10am while the main show for spectators is from 10am to 2pm.

Entering a vehicle will cost $20 and spectators can enter with a gold coin donation.

The Goulburn Car and Motorcycle Show is a COVID-Safe event.

All attendees must be fully vaccinated, check-in via the QR code upon entry and follow all other COVID-Safe protocols as directed.
